I qualified as a primary school teacher from Stranmillis University College in 2010 with a first class honours in BEd Music. I am from Northern Ireland, where I worked as a full-time music teacher in Mossley Primary School, teaching recorders, handbells, accordions and choirs alongside the musical requirements of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, until moving to Eastbourne in 2013. I have Grade 8 (distinction) in both piano and flute, and have Grade 5 in theory of music. For seven years, before attaining Qualified Teacher Status, I taught piano, flute and theory of music.
I offer tuition/accompaniment for all ages at the charge of £14 for half an hour and I will as appropriate enter pupils for Associated Board and Trinity Guildhall examinations.

Sian Bulpitt is a highly experienced Flautist playing for numerous county orchestras back in her homeland in Wales, where she also studied Music for A level. Although she has a strong passion for performing she has a bigger passion for teaching others how to perform to the best of their ability and so is frequently now teaching the flute to beginners and advanced players around her local area of Eastbourne. CRB checked and with a great deal of experience working with children in a number of local schools she is now looking to expand her expertise to help you. She is also able to teach music theory both as part of her flute teaching and as a stand alone subject.
